		<description>I don&#039;t remember what security it uses by default, but obviously there is some incompatibility between the specific firmware on this laptop and the Fivespot&#039;s implementation, since as I said, I got it to work just fine on several other devices. Good point on the WEP level, though the encryption has flaws enough that if someone is set on cracking you, you&#039;re pretty much sunk either way.</description>

		<description>Does the device use an implementation of WPA by default? Is that was is flawed? Also, if you can change the level of encryption with WEP be sure to go as high as possible since WEP is significantly easier to crack than WPA.</description>

Did you get to stay around long and listen to any of the other presentations? Some of them sounded pretty interesting, not just the computer ones.  Sounds like your project would be a fun one to watch the data paths light up when you simulate a command. Did you have to use open source because of school budget or choice?</description>
